Your series is tremendously insightful. I have been compiling your character criteria into a single planning sheet. I am analyzing each of my characters using the tool, and have found a number of flaws that I am now correcting.

As a learning exercise, I have gone back to some of my favorite books and reverse-engineered the characters. Your observations are highly accurate.
