Write the Next (Hypothetical) Sci-Fi TV Series

SF Museum LogoThe nonprofit Museum of Science Fiction is conducting a seminar on writing for television.

From their release:

Screenwriter Morgan Gendel, winner of the Hugo Award for Star Trek: The Next Generation fan-favorite episode “The Inner Light” and an Emmy nominee for Law & Order, will be conducting a Workshop for working writers, aspiring amateurs or those who just want to voice their ideas. In this 6-hour hands-on seminar, participants will work as a group to create the concept for a new sci-fi series. Building on that framework, the fundamentals of setting, character and action will be examined with an eye toward how they work together in a compelling screen story. Mr. Gendel will screen clips from his work and others’ to demonstrate.

A separate Daytime and Evening Workshop is offered. Limited seating.
