SFWA's annual Publishers' Reception (formerly called Authors and Editors) will be held 7:30PM, Monday, November 14, 2005 at the Society Of Illustrators (www.societyillustrators.org), 128 East 63rd Street, New York City.

Invitations will be mailed to members of the publishing industry at all levels, including those who typically do not attend conventions. All SFWA members are welcome to attend.

Semi-formal attire suggested. It's an open bar reception, not a dinner; most authors arrange to go out to dinner in groups beforehand. Unfortunately, the building is not handicapped accessible.

The Lowell Hotel
28 E. 63rd Street
The Lowell has only 47 individually decorated suites and 21 deluxe rooms. It is located between Park and Madison Avenues one block from Central Park within walking distance of the Midtown business district in the heart of Madison Avenue.

There are no special SFWA hotel rates for this event.
