Joan Harrison, wife of author Harry Harrison, passed away this morning, April 21, 2002. Prior to their marriage, she was a dress-designer and ballet dancer. Harry was sharing a studio with a jewellery designer, and she was a friend of his. She and Harry were married for forty-eight years.
