Richard Bowes wins SF/F Lambda Award

The Lambda Literary Foundation announced this year's Lambda Literary Award winners in Chicago on June 1. The Lammys are comprehensive gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender literary awards honoring American books for excellence and vision.

The winner for Lesbian and Gay Science Fiction/Fantasy was Minions of the Moon by Richard Bowes, Tor Books.

The other finalists for Lesbian & Gay Science Fiction/Fantasy were

    Night Shade by Victoria Brownworth and Judith Redding, Seal Press
    The Annunciate by Severna Park, Avon-Eos
    The Gumshoe, the Witch, and the Virtual Corpse by Keith Hartman, Meisha Merlin
    Through a Brazen Mirror by Delia Sherman, Cortney Skinner and Ellen Kushner, Circlet
