AUTHOR PHOTOS AT THE NEBULA WEEKEND

As part of the new website, SFWA will offer a "Featured Author" slot on the front page. To be included in this, authors must be Active or Associate SFWA members with a professional headshot.

To keep with the tone of the website, photos must be ones that would be suitable to appear on a novel. If you already have a suitable photo, please email a jpg and a 25 word bio to featuredauthor@sfwa.org.

Photos must be 150dpi, minimum. It will be cropped to 180 px wide by200 px tall.

Since not all members have access to professional photographers, SFWA has arranged for a photographer to be onsite at the Nebula weekend. If you would like to sign up for a slot with the photographer, please email featuredauthor@sfwa.org. These slots are extremely limited so please don't delay.

RETALIATORY LAWSUIT AGAINST WRITER BEWARE STAFF DISMISSED

A Massachusetts Superior Court judge has dismissed a lawsuit against Ann Crispin and Victoria Strauss, the principal operators of the Writer Beware website, filed by a purported literary agent. Read the Press Release for more information.
