Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy Magazine closing
*********************************************************

Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy Magazine has sent notice that issue 50 will be the last. Issue number 47 of the quarterly magazine is currently at the printer. They are no longer reading manuscripts and will refund any money paid for issues beyond that as soon as issue 50 is in the mail. The magazine will be out of business by the end of 2000.

MZBFM is a large format magazine that was first published in the summer of 1988. For most of its run, it was edited and published by Marion Zimmer Bradley, who passed away in September of 1999.

This is the second recent genre magazine closing. In February, Sovereign Media Co. announced that they were discontinuing Science Fiction Age with the May, 2000 issue.
