Boston to host 2004 WorldCon

Following a high voter turnout, Boston won the bid to host the 2004 World Science Fiction Convention, beating Charlotte 1,196 - 832. The 62nd World Science Fiction Convention will be called Noreascon Four and take place on September 2-6, 2004.

Guests of honor will be Terry Pratchett, William Tenn, Jack Speer and Peter Weston. More details about the convention are avialable at http://www.mcfi.org/index.html

The voting took place at Millennium Philcon, the 59th WorldCon in Philadelphia on August 30 - September 1.
