Patrice Duvic (1946-2007)
***************************************************

French writer, editor and bookseller, Patrice Duvic, passed away from a pulmonary condition on Sunday, February 25, 2007. Although he had lung complications for many years, he was still strong and his sudden death was unexpected.

Duvic's writing credits included short stories in Omni and Fantasy Book; the novel Champ Mental (with Frank Herbert); and the screenplays for the movies Terminus, and Vampirisme (which he directed). Well liked by American fans and writers, he translated some English language works to French, as well as editing collections and novels.
