1998 SFWA Preliminary Nebula Awards® Ballot

Brook West, Nebula Award® Report editor, announced the Preliminary Ballot for the Nebula Awards for 1998. The Preliminary Ballot will be mailed by January 11th, to all active members of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
SFWA members may nominate no more than five works in each category on the Preliminary Ballot and must return the ballot by February 20, 1999 for the ballot to be counted.
The final ballot will be mailed on March 1st. The detailed rules are available at http://www.sfwa.org/awards/rules.htm. Please note that the address for the Nebula Award® Report has changed to NAR Editor, PO Box 18481, Salt Lake City, UT 84118-0481
The Nebula Awards are voted on, and presented by, active members of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, Inc. Founded as the Science Fiction Writers of America in 1965 by Damon Knight, the organization began with a charter membership of 78 writers; it now has over 1,000 members, among them most of the leading writers of science fiction and fantasy.
The Awards will be announced at the 1999 Nebula Awards® Weekend to be held in Pittsburgh, PA on April 30 - May 2, 1999.
