Philadelphia musical based on Le Guin's "The Masters"

The musical, The Hidden Sky, based on the short story "The Masters" by Ursula K. Le Guin, is premiering at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia in February 29-March 19, 2000.

"With joyous choral harmonies and ballads, THE HIDDEN SKY is a new music theater work based on a short story by science fiction favorite Ursula K. Le Guin. In a repressive futuristic world a young pursues her dreams. Can hey be realized? What are the obstacles? What will she find? The Hidden Sky is about the promise of who we are; the complexities of the world we live in; the quest for knowledge; and the strength of our convictions."
