The minimum rate of payment to be considered as a SFWA Qualifying Professional Market has been raised from 3 cents per word to 5 cents per word. The change will be effective for sales starting January 1, 2004 and will not be retroactive.

This change was recommended by the Membership Committee and endorsed by a unanimous vote of the SFWA Board of Directors.
