Subterranean Press Launches on Baen's Webscription Service

October 30, 2007 — Wake Forest, North Carolina: The inaugural list of Subterranean Press titles is now available on Baen's e-publishing site.

"Just in time for Halloween, Subterranean Press launches their inaugural Webscription list with an exciting and broad range of works," said James Minz, Senior Editor with Baen Books, and coordinator of Baen's expanding Webscription program. "From tales of terror and suspense to classic SF from a genre master to whatever you want to call Joe Lansdale's vibrant and crazy tales of adventure, there's something here for everyone. We even have a couple of very special advance edition eARCs whose print editions won't be available until early 2008."

William Schafer, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Subterranean Press, added, "We're more than a little pleased to join the 21st century, and give readers even more options, and more reasons, to discover Subterranean Press."

The list of titles includes:

  • New Amsterdam by Elizabeth Bear
  • D*U*C*K by Poppy Z. Brite
  • Alabaster by Caitlin R. Kiernan
  • Flaming London by Joe R. Lansdale
  • Dreadful Skin by Cherie Priest
