Finalists for this year’s John W. Campbell Memorial Award for best science fiction novel have been selected. The honor will be presented during the Campbell Conference Award Banquet on Friday, June 16, as part of the annual Campbell Conference.
This year’s Campbell Conference (June 11-14) brings together teachers and scholars to discuss the current state of and future trends in science fiction education at their institutions, especially as it pertains to degree programs.
Eighteen stories drawn from more than a decade of publications, plus the title story: a brand new novelette that appears here for the first time. These stories show us disturbing futures that may be a lot closer than we like to think.
