Manuscript Preparation

Because the format of the page is part of the presentation, there really is no way to render this article in HTML. Instead, the pages have been scanned and the article presented entirely as graphics. Each page contains only one graphic, 25K or less in size, so they should load quickly.

If you are using a text browser or for any other reason would like a hard copy of this handout, it is also available in Adobe Acrobat pdf file format (revised 9 Jan 2005), which displays and prints correctly. The reader, if you don't already have it, is a free download from Adobe.

If you are using a GUI Web browser and wish to print from the gif display, please DON'T. Get the Acrobat reader and use the pdf file instead. Printing from your browser's display of the gifs will ruin the format and provide misleading information.
