About Me

She/Her

Sci-fi author, screenwriter, comic creator, and film director, Jessica grew up in Michigan and runs Wicked Tree Press in LA. Plastic Girl is her latest, coming to age series set in a climate apocalypse.

“A hauntingly beautiful dystopian story - A beautiful tale of loss, hope, friendship and love, but expect surprises along the way. This book should read as a warning for what the planet could become if we don't start respecting nature. Reading it during a global pandemic really drives that message home. I'd love to see a follow up novel." (The follow-up novel exists - Plastic Girl: Extinction - and it is coming in 2021)

Besides writing, running my company, and raising my kids, I do a lot of volunteer work around environmental education, sustainability, climate literacy, and gardening.

I will be volunteering with SFWA either in self-publishing or comics this year.
