Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at SFWA or attending a SFWA event where there is a possibility of your likeness/voice being recorded. All SFWA members sign a basic recordings waiver so that we can promote our events and celebrate them after the fact on our websites and in our social media. If you are not a SFWA Member, we ask that you submit the following waiver ahead of your participation in SFWA activities. We do not use your materials for anything beyond these promotional and educational purposes. Thank you so much for being with us! We hope the experience aids in your own creative journey.

SFWA Recordings Waiver

Yes, I agree to the terms of this recordings waiver.

By checking off this box, I hereby grant SFWA permission to use my likeness in organization-specific photographs, videos, or other digital media (“photo”) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications. With the exception of manipulating the aforementioned items onto an official organization template or photoshop, SFWA will not alter the likeness of any individual or present them in a manner inconsistent with how the image/film/digital media was originally taken. SFWA may use clips, still photos, or other lightly edited versions of the recording for promotional and educational purposes. SFWA will not change the substance of any of my statements. SFWA may remove a statement I make if it is found to be offensive or illegal in any way.
