About Cialis (Generic)

General Information

Generic Cialis (tadalafil) is used to treat male sexual function problems, including erectile dysfunction (ED) and impotence. The medication improves blood flow to the penis, helping to achieve and maintain an erection during sexual activity. The active ingredient is tadalafil. This medication is contraindicated for women and children.

Prescription Requirement

A prescription is required to purchase generic Cialis. All generics sold through Blink Health pharmacy are FDA-approved.

How Cialis Works

Cialis belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It increases blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which helps achieve a normal erection. The drug does not increase sexual desire, cure ED, protect against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), or prevent pregnancy.

Dosage options:

  • Daily use — at the same time each day.
  • As needed — about 30 minutes before sexual activity (as prescribed by your doctor).

Do not exceed the dosage stated in your prescription.
