Webcast: Google Book Settlement Workshop – 1/20/2010

On Jan 20, the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) , the National Writers Union (NWU),  Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) and the Internet Society’s New York Chapter (ISOC-NY) jointly sponsored a workshop to discuss the implications for writers of the proposed Google Books Settlement (GBS).

    Thanks for posting the audio, but I can’t get it to load beyond the ten minute mark. I’ve tried several browsers/operating system combinations. Are things working on your end?

    Daniel,

    I updated the plug in that allows the audio to play on the site today. I don’t know if that was an issue with you being able to get past the 10 minute mark.

    If you are looking at the audio player the green bar indicates how far the download of the audio file to your cache has progressed. You can’t move the playback beyond the green bar so as the green bar progresses you can move farther into the file.
