Ian McDonald’s The Dervish House has won the Campbell Award for the best science-fiction novel of the year, and Geoffrey A. Landis’s “The Sultan of the Clouds” has won the Sturgeon Award for the best short science fiction of the year.
We are especially pleased to see that SFWA member Cory Doctorow’s Little Brother has just been awarded 2009 John W. Campbell Award for the best science fiction novel of the year. His novel tied with Ian MacLeod’s Song of Time which is only the third time in the history of the award that the jurors have ended in a tie.
This anthology contains issues eight through ten of the preeminent e-zine for fantastic furry fiction. Edited by Mary E. Lowd, it features stories by Nina Kiriki Hoffman, Tim Susman, and Michael H. Payne.
