Catalysts, Explorers, & Secret Keepers

The Museum of Science Fiction has announced a new science fiction anthology: Catalysts, Explorers, & Secret Keepers. It will be a “take-home exhibit” featuring short works by and about the women of science fiction.

2013 Endeavor Award Winner

Seattle writer Laurie Frankel won the fifteenth Endeavour Award for her novel Goodbye For Now (Doubleday.) The Award, by Florida artist Ashley Harper, comes with an honorarium of $1,000.00.

2012 Nebula Award Winners Announced

The Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America, Inc. has announced the recipients of the 2012 Nebula Awards®.

The Nebula Awards® are voted on and presented by the active members of SFWA for outstanding science fiction and fantasy published in 2012. The awards were announced at the Nebula Awards® Banquet held at in San Jose, CA, May 16-20.

Writer’s Workshop at Anticipation 2009, Worldcon

Montreal – There will indeed be a writers’ workshop at Anticipation 2009, Worldcon, in Montreal this August. The workshop sessions are two hours long and scheduled at various times on various days.
