Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) will honor Vonda N. McIntyre and Keith Stokes with SFWA Service Awards for 2010 during the Nebula Awards® Weekend May 13-16 in Coco Beach, Fla.
SFWA Active members, the voting period for the Nebula final ballot has opened. You may read the nominated works in the members’ only Discussion Forum and vote online. Your vote must be received by March 30th, 2010 at 11:59pm PST in order to be counted.
SFWA is proud to announce the nominees for the 2009 Nebula Awards.
The Nebula Awards are voted on, and presented by, active members of SFWA. The awards will be announced at the Nebula Awards Banquet the evening of May 15 at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront, just 20 minutes from the Kennedy Space Center in Fla. Other awards to be presented are the Andre Norton Award for Excellence in Science Fiction or Fantasy for Young Adults, the Bradbury Award for excellence in screenwriting and the Solstice Award for outstanding contribution to the field.
SFWA Active and Associate members, there are only 10 days left to nominate for the Nebula Awards. Why not spend the weekend reading some of the 260 free pieces of eligible fiction available in the members’ only Discussion Forum.
Each year SFWA, the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, presents the prestigious Nebula Awards® for the year’s best literary and dramatic works of speculative fiction. This year SFWA’s Nebula Awards® Weekend will be May 14-16 in Cocoa Beach, Florida, on Cape Canaveral.
